The challenge
Pronto Café had built a loyal following in Hialeah, FL, but almost none of that loyalty showed up online. Orders came through third-party apps that took a cut of every ticket, kept the customer data, and buried the restaurant under competitors in search. Alex was spending more on commissions each month than on marketing, without a guest list to show for it.
What changed
The team moved ordering to a commission-free storefront on their own domain, rebuilt the website with the Parsley builder in an afternoon, and connected their Google Business Profile so every search result pointed home. Loyalty and gift cards launched the same week, and email campaigns started going out to guests the restaurant now actually knew by name.
“Twenty-five years at the window and the phone never stopped. Now the orders land on the screen, the line moves, and the pan con bistec still comes out the same.”
The results
Within the first quarter Pronto Café recorded $12,000 in online sales in the first month, with the majority of orders coming from returning guests. Direct orders now outnumber marketplace orders, the kitchen works from a single ticket queue, and the restaurant is recommended by name when people in Hialeah, FL ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini where to eat.
