Let us speak a moment on the topic of increasing online orders through your website. If we’re being perfectly honest, the tools you are using likely work (although maybe to a lesser degree than Munch). One very real issue that people typically overlook: link/button placement.
Why place an online ordering button at the bottom of an interior page?
NO ONE WILL EVER FIND IT THERE!
When you can place it here:
If you can make money directly from your restaurant website, embrace that opportunity as obviously and shamelessly as possible.
People who want to order online are going to either: 1) find what they’re looking for quickly on your website OR 2) go elsewhere to get it.
Make sure that you are giving your customers every opportunity to support you. Getting them to visit your website is a great step in the right direction. Just don’t make it difficult for them.
